In The Making

Hi, there! My name is Jasmin and I’m the proud and excited founder of “Berry-Simple”.

Just to give a bit of background about how this all came about. It all started with this small and very picky little girl (me). My mom always tried to make food fun for me. But with our busy NY life, she told me I needed to learn how to cook at the age seven. Even though I thought I was so young, I said “challenge accepted!” So little ol’ Jasmin learned how to cook, starting with the Puerto Rican food I grew up with, then moving onto learning about other cultures and their food. As I grew in my skill, I learned that most people enjoy simple but bold flavors and that is what I wanted to bring to Berry-Simple.

As a growing chef and baker, friends started to ask for my help for occasional catering jobs and special events, big or small, I always challenged myself to bring the food to life with a fun twist. As the request volume increased, I decided to make things official and fulfill my childhood dream with the creation of Berry Simple. As the occasional favors grew to requests and culinary orders increased, I decided to share my talents by offering my services on this small business online platform and fulfilling my childhood dream with the creation of Berry Simple.
